Qingtuan

Qingtuan is a traditional . This food, which looks like a round mass of huge green stone, is actually made of rice, black bean paste and a special plant called ''maiqing'' , which is essentially barnyard grass. The exact technique in making qingtuan is quite complicated. Because of the rarity of the barnyard grass, this food is eaten only around the Qingming Festival, which happens to be on or around April 5 of each year in Gregorian Calendar.
