Soy egg

Soy egg is a type of egg cooked in soy sauce, sugar, water, as well as possibly other herbs and spices.

Soy egg may be eaten individually as a snack. It is sometimes used as a condiment in congee. It may also be used in a traditional Chinese egg dish, in which regular , century eggs, and soy eggs are steamed together.

Soy eggs are commonly sold in convenience stores in East Asian countries.
